How to add funds to DatDrop
Open datdrop.com and sign in to your account. Before your first deposit, check the platform’s country and age restrictions and set a spending limit. If you want items delivered to Steam, read the skin withdrawal requirements: adding funds and withdrawing an item are separate transactions.
- Open the deposit section. Choose a method offered in your account.
- Enter an amount or select items. When depositing skins, use the valuation shown in the offer, rather than what you originally paid for them.
- Check the total before paying. Review the currency, minimum, fee and amount that will reach your main balance. Check bonus terms separately.
- Follow the instructions for your method. A card payment may need bank approval; a crypto payment requires sending the specified coin to the given address on the correct network.
- Check the credit. Compare your DatDrop balance with the entry in your account’s payment history. Keep the transaction reference or confirmation.
Deposit methods and fees
DatDrop’s FAQ lists four groups of deposit methods. Check your account’s deposit section for the specific options and terms available to you.
| Method | What to check |
|---|---|
| Bank card | The charged currency, total and fee in the payment form. Complete bank approval if requested. |
| Cryptocurrency | The coin and network. Use the address in the current deposit window, rather than one from an old transfer. |
| Skins | The items you are sending, their valuation and the amount credited. Check the contents of the trade offer before confirming. |
| Gift card | The value and redemption terms. A gift card code is different from a partner code for a bonus. |
What is the minimum deposit and fee? Check the terms for your chosen method before confirming. Include any bank or network fees, and compare the total cost with the credit to your main balance, excluding the bonus.
For crypto, the network matters: sending a different coin or using the wrong network can result in lost funds. Do not send until the details match the instructions.
Partner codes, bonuses and DatPoints
If you use a partner code, enter it before paying and check that it has been accepted. Following a link alone does not confirm that a code was applied. See the DatDrop partner code guide for details.
The bonus is not an instant addition to your main balance. DatDrop’s FAQ describes claiming a deposit bonus by exchanging DatPoints. You earn these points by spending balance in paid modes. Before depositing, read the bonus claim terms and check which balance the interface is showing.
DatDrop deposit not showing: what to do
Open the payment history in your DatDrop profile and compare it with the transaction in your bank, wallet or payment service. DatDrop’s FAQ gives a usual processing time of 5–10 minutes, but processing can take longer.
Your card funds are on hold
A hold does not mean a charge has completed. Ask your bank whether the payment is complete or the funds are still reserved. The bank can also explain when the hold will be released.
The payment was declined or cancelled
Check the error message and whether there is a charge or hold. Ask your bank or payment service about the reason for the decline. Retrying does not cancel the earlier transaction.
The payment is confirmed but your balance has not changed
Keep the confirmation and contact DatDrop support. For a crypto transfer, also check the coin, network, destination address and transaction confirmations in your wallet.
Do not send a second payment just to test the credit. Resolve the first one: your bank, wallet and DatDrop may use different status labels.
What to send to support
Contact support through the official DatDrop site or at support@datdrop.com. Include the date and time, amount, currency and deposit method, then add the details for your transaction:
- Card: the order or transaction reference and any error message.
- Cryptocurrency: the transaction ID (TxID), coin and network.
- Skins: the payment or trade reference and items sent.
- Gift card: the order reference and redemption error message.
If you attach a confirmation, hide unnecessary personal information. Do not share your password, CVV or one-time codes. Do not post payment details or gift card codes in public comments.
