FURIA recover against FaZe as MOUZ beat TYLOO at IEM Beijing

FURIA lose Ancient from 10-2 up, then recover

FURIA led Ancient 10-2 at halftime. FaZe then won 11 of the next 12 rounds to take the map 13-11. That put FURIA 0-1 down in the series.

FURIA answered with a 13-5 win on Dust2 and closed the Cache decider 13-4. They conceded just nine rounds across their two map wins. KSCERATO finished the three-map series with 46 kills.

MOUZ concede 13 rounds across two maps

MOUZ won TYLOO's Inferno pick 13-6 before taking their own pick, Nuke, 13-7. Mirage was not needed. Spinx finished with 43 kills, 21 deaths and a 1.94 Rating 3.0 for the series.

TYLOO fielded Jee, who returned to the lineup after missing four matches. The Chinese side will continue in the lower bracket.

Next opponents and the route to the playoffs

MOUZ face BetBoom and Liquid meet PARIVISION in the upper-bracket semifinals on November 3. The winners of those series will qualify for the playoffs. FURIA's next opponent will be NAVI.

FaZe, TYLOO, Aurora, G2, Legacy and 9z drop to the lower bracket. They can still reach the playoffs, but another series loss will eliminate them. Three teams from each group advance.

NAVI beat Falcons to set up a match with FURIA

NAVI defeated Falcons 2-0, winning Ancient 13-5 and Mirage 13-11. NAVI advance to the Group A upper-bracket semifinal against FURIA; Falcons move to the lower bracket.
