Overtime on Cache, a clear win on Dust2
Cache went to overtime before 100 Thieves closed it 19-16. They then won Dust2 13-4, ending the final before the Mirage decider was needed.
100 Thieves finished the tournament without losing a map. Their title-winning lineup featured device, rain, poiii, sirah and Gizmy.
How HOTU's defeat affected the Major race
Earlier that day, HOTU lost the GLuck Moscow Cyber Games final 0-2 to 1win: 9-13 on Anubis and 11-13 on Dust2. That left the last European place dependent on 100 Thieves' result in Argentina.
HLTV's final projections put 100 Thieves above the qualification cutoff and HOTU outside the field. The club also announced its Major qualification. The Stage 1 allocation remains attributed to HLTV: Valve's official November invitation standings had not been published when checked.
